Press and hold Stop / Reset on PIXMA models for ~5 seconds to print a built-in nozzle test pattern directly from the printer — no computer needed.

Canon print-head cleaning

Canon My Image Garden → Maintenance → Print Head Cleaning. Start with a regular clean; escalate to Deep Cleaning only if the nozzle check still shows gaps.

Canon print-head alignment

My Image Garden → Maintenance → Print Head Alignment. Fix blurry, doubled, or colour-misregistered output on PIXMA inkjets.

Canon imageCLASS toner check

Streaks in Canon printouts are almost always caused by clogged print-head nozzles. Open Canon IJ Printer Utility or My Image Garden and run Print Head Cleaning, then re-test.
